why we exıst?

It started with a simple human need: to belong.

Living in another country can be exciting, enriching and full of possibilities. But it can also mean rebuilding something we often take for granted: a sense of belonging.

As a psychologist living abroad, our founder became increasingly interested in the relationship between belonging, social connection and psychological well-being.

Turkish Network Rome was born from a simple idea: what if we could create a community where people could find their people, feel connected, and build a sense of home away from home?

Today, the community brings together people through social gatherings, cultural experiences, meaningful conversations and new connections with opportunities for personal and professional growth emerging naturally along the way.

We don't bring people together just to network.
We create the conditions for people to belong, and let everything else grow from there.
